Apart from her figure as an entrepreneur, she has so much in store for people around her. She is an educationist and a spiritualist. Her dynamism has made her a billionaire. According to Forbes 2015 rankings, Indu Jain had a net worth of $3.1 billion and was ranked 57th-richest person in India and 549th-richest person in the world. Indu Jain is also founder President of the Ladies wing of FICCI (FLO (March 2017) she is Chairperson of the Bharatiya JnanpithTrust, which awards the Jnanpith award.

She has introduced columns on spirituality in the TOI, to support for women’s rights. The Indian Congress of Women (ICW) awarded ‘International Lifetime Achievement Award Under her direction, The Times Foundation runs Community Services, Research Foundation and Times Relief Fund for disaster reliefs such as floods, cyclones, earthquakes.

Her leadership qualities and strategic planning made her into the person that she is today. She is an inspiration to many women out there. She was recognised and was awarded the Padma Bhushan by the Government of India in the year 2016.
